As part of running in our elections candidates are invited to answer questions about why they should be elected. We call this event the 'Candidate Q&A' and it is taking place on Monday 9th March 2026 from 6.30pm. At this time WinchSU will be releasing live Candidate Question & Answer sessions in which candidates will outline their candidacy and answer pre-submitted questions from students or drawn from our survey of members.

This panel style Q&A will be hosted via livestream by the Union's Deputy Returning Officer and/or our outgoing Officers, and will be released as four separate sessions (one for each of the Officer positions available) from 6.30pm on our instagram page.
