Get Involved

Your Students’ Union is at the heart of campus life, offering countless ways to get involved, meet new people, and make a difference. Whether you're looking to share your feedback, make a change on campus, or volunteer with us, there’s lots of ways to get stuck in!

The Officer Review Panel

A sub-committee of Student Senate, the Officer Review Panel offers a fantastic opportunity to be involved in shaping the Union’s democratic process, grow your understanding of how the Union and its Officers work, and further develop management related skills around reviewing progress and establishing achievable recommendations for future work.

For those interested in pursuing Officer Roles in the future (full-time or part-time), this opportunity will also provide invaluable insight into what these roles entail.

In terms of time commitment, we ask that Panel members be able to attend just two meetings per academic year – each ahead of SU Council. Panel members will also receive some self-directed training to help prepare them for the role.

For those involved in the Panel, we provide the option of a LinkedIn recommendation from the SU for your work.

Want to sit on the Officer Review Panel? Contact student.union@winchester.ac.uk to register your interest.

Student Experience Collaborators

Become a Student Experience Collaborator and make a difference for students, current and future!

The Student Experience Collaborators programme is brought to you by the University of Winchester and Students’ Union. This is an exciting opportunity for students to work in partnership with university staff, including senior leadership and Students’ Union executive to develop and enhance the student experience. Your ideas are taken on board by staff members and passed onto relevant teams where they will be actioned.
