Celebrating Activity Group Success has a new look!

This year we are changing how we celebrate activity group and individual success. We are going from weekly recognition to a monthly award. The two categories are:

• Activity Group of the Month (group award)
• Activities Champion of the Month (individual award)

Each month students will have the opportunity to nominate one or more Activity Groups and Individuals to be put forward for our awards, you can nominate through the form below. The Activity Group of the month award, highlights groups who have gone above and beyond and been truly engaging, whether for their members or within the student community. The Activities Champion award goes to an individual who has gone above and beyond to improve, bolster or champion their activity group(s) on campus! 

 

Examples of some prizes are:

• Activity Group of the Month - BOP Queue Jump
• Activities Champion of the Month - £25 STC Voucher, SU Shop Hoodie, SU Shop Meal Deal Voucher or BOP Guestlist (free BOP and queue jump!)

If you have any ideas for prizes, especially for AG of the month, we'd love to get your input on the kinds of things you'd want to recieve, please let us know by emailing The Activities Team with your suggestions.

A panel will choose the recipents of the awards based on nominations (so be detailed - quality will be considered over quantity) and the great things you shout about directly to the Activities Team. So make sure you're letting us know what you're up to.

 

The panel meets monthly to deliberate over nominations from the previous month, deadlines for each month are:

• Saturday 31st October 2026
• Monday 30th November 2026
• Thursday 31st December 2026
• Sunday 31st January 2027
• Sunday 28th Feburary 2027
• Wednesday 31st March 2027
