Committee Election Resources

Please use this page as guidance for queries relating to Activity Group Committee Elections, below you will find key information regarding the nomination process, key dates, and role descriptions, for any other queries or problems, please email the Activites Team for assistance.


Nomination Process

If you would like to nominate yourself for a role, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in using the email address that you used to join your activity group. If it doesn't work, contact us at suactivities@winchester.ac.uk
  2. Head to the drop-down list on your name (top right corner) and select account/profile.
  3. Select ‘My Nominations’ on the left and the opportunity to nominate yourself will appear there
  4. Follow the process and submit your ‘speech’/‘manifesto’ of maximum 350 words.
  5. We will approve the nomination, and they will be ready to go. You will only be notified if your nomination is declined but you will have the opportunity to re-submit.

By-Election Key Dates:

  • Nominations Open: Monday 3rd November 12:00
  • Nominations Close: Thursday 6th November 12:00
  • Voting Opens: Thursday 6th November 15:00
  • Voting Closes: Monday 10th November 12:00
  • Results: From 10th November

PLEASE NOTE - This election is to fill previously empty committee positions if you were elected at the end of the previous academic year, you do NOT need to re-run!
