Post suitable for: Current students at the University of Winchester only; Winchester Student Union is currently seeking knowledgeable, approachable and hardworking students, to help deliver our venue & bar services. 

Hours: This is a zero hour contract but we aim to provide 1 to 2 shifts a week, which shifts ranging between 3 and 8 hours. You must be available to work a Wednesday night club night shift most week. 

(Very limited work will be available in the daytime and outside of term-time and is not guaranteed.)

Rate of Pay: from £12.21 ph + pay in lieu of holiday

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Deadline for applications is Sunday 7th September

Applications are automatically submitted on completion of the online application form. Depending on demand, applications may be considered and shortlisted as and when they are submitted. Applications may close early if application limit is reached. Please note the short turnaround between applications closing and proposed interviews.

SELECTION & INTERVIEWS

Online interviews take place the week commencing Monday 8th September.

Invites to interview will be sent as they are shortlisted. If you have been selected for interview, we will contact you directly using the details supplied. Interviews will likely be conducted via Microsoft Teams. Please ensure that you enter correct contact details on your application form.

If you are not contacted within 5 working days of the application deadline, you have unfortunately not been shortlisted for the post.

 

START DATES

Successful applicants must be available for in person training in Winchester on Thursday 18th or Friday 19th September and actual shfits will start on Saturday 20th September. You are expected to work at least 3 shifts throughout Freshers (Saturday 20th - Sunday 28th September). Please only apply if you are able to start work immediately.
