About Us

With so many student opportunities available to you whilst at university, it can be hard to keep up to date with everything and know where to find relevant information in order to make the most of your degree.

The 'Get Involved' section of university's intranet homepage takes away this worry by providing you with in-depth information related to every student opportunity at Winchester, in a clear and accessible way! The university also provides you with a Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) - a digital certificate which formally recognises some of these opportunities, helping you stand out from the crowd!

Opportunity details

The Get Involved site, located on the homepage of the university’s intranet, connects you to over 150 unique extra-curricular opportunities available to you throughout your university journey! The site acts as a signposting service and provides in-depth information on: Sports and Clubs, Societies and Interest Groups, Academic Engagement, On-campus Employment and Volunteering Opportunities.

Getting involved is a great way to enhance not only your university experience, but also your boost your own employability skills. To help you stand out from the crowd when it comes to job interviews/applications, you can use your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR). Your HEAR is an electronic, university-verified certificate showcasing your academic and extra-curricular achievements. See the video below which explains what the HEAR is and how you can use it!
