Description

The Winchester Video Gaming Society is all about gaming and sharing experiences with fellow gamers. The Society is all about having a good time and making new friends through the shared hobby of video games. Our members play many different sorts of games on many different platforms so there will always be someone who enjoys the same things as you do.

Our Society sessions are every week in SAB203 every Thursday from 6:30-9:30pm We have a several consoles (namely a PS2, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360) at these sessions and encourage others to bring their own device to play games on too. We hold regular tournaments in these sessions and have challenges that run throughout the semester/year. Generally, these sessions are focused on multiplayer games but we welcome those who want to chat while playing single-player games too!

The Society Discord server is a hub for all our activities. We announce upcoming sessions & events, share updates from our e-sports teams, and run online events such as tournaments, game launches, etc. Here is also were you will find the connection details for our Society Minecraft Server. This is running 24/7 and at weekends we will be running Minigames Tournaments with prizes each semester!

We also house the Winchester Warriors E-Sports Team!

This is Winchester's official e-sports team, who take part in CS: GO, Siege, Rocket League, League of Legends, TFT and Overwatch. Each of our teams has an elected captain, and some of the teams have coaches. Winchester Warriors is open to gamers of all levels as we hope to build out a full roster for each game this year.
