Join us for the second of our Freshers Sunset Social Walks. 

Our Winchester River Walk is a lovely circular walk along the River Itchen and Itchen Navigation, taking in such famous Winchester landmarks as the Cathedral, Winchester College, views of St Catherine's Hill, whilst passing through the beautiful water meadows adjacent to the Itchen. 

A perfect way to relax and take in the sunset views after a busy day settling in to your new University life. 

We'd recommend sensible walk footwear as some of the river pathways can often by uneven. 

Join a member of our Freshers Crew in the Terrace Bar on Level 2 of the King Alfred Centre at 6pm for the start of this free walking tour. Guests will need to register for the tour here on the website.

The walk is approx. 4 miles and includes around a 1/4 mile of inclines and steps - walk starts promptly at 6pm, please arrive by 5.55pm.

This is a free event but booking is recomended.
