After the success of the Poetry Open Mic Night last semester the UoW Poetry Society is hosting another Open Mic Night, in the Lounge/ Terrace Bar on Tuesday 9^th May.  

Sharing your work with an audience is a great way of growing your confidence as a poet, so if you’ve got something to read then please come along. Or just come and enjoy the poetry, including meeting some special guests.  

Members and non-members are both welcome (though members get in for free!). Our host for the evening is Ella and you can email her in advance to book your slot at   e.measey.20@unimail.winchester.ac.uk  

Also, there will be a free raffle with a chance to win poetry collections. Doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 7.30 pm.  

Tickets available now on the SU website. Tickets cost £2 (or free if you’re a member; did we mention that already?) Members will need to prove their membership of the society for a free ticket.
