The Officer Championing this priority is the Vice President, Activities & Services.
Our key targets for achieving this priority are:
1. Through delivery of an annual communication plan every member will be provided with student friendly digital and physical information about our activities.
Green. Digital listing and information pages for activity groups updated. Physical information distribution no longer considered a priority.
2. When surveyed 80% of our students will believe that the range of extra-curricular activities provided by the union is good or excellent.
Red. When asked in the 2019/2020 annual survey, 76% of members believed that our provided opportunities were good or excellent. This reduced to 68.5% in 20/21, due to curtailment of activity as a repsonse to Covid-19. This increased to 74% when members surveyed in 21/22.
3. Increased participation and diversity in Union led activities.
Green. 2019/2020 participation figures are up on prior year. Benchmark diversity data undertaken. Representation networks created and supported. 20/21 Participation figures down on prior year due to curtailment of activity as a repsonse to Covid-19. 21/22 data notes increase in participation amongst demographic groups.
