Student Recharge Events

Student Wellbeing is a top priority for Winch SU. Here at your Students' Union, we run Student Recharge Days: dedicated days designed to support you through relaxation, guidance and stress management. Student Recharge Days offer you the opportunity to take a break from studying to focus on your wellbeing. We also hold our annual Recharge Festival! This is set up by the Sabbatical Officer in charge of the Welfare Zone in Winchester Students' Union. It's a wonderful (and usually sunny) opportunity to wind down and relieve any tension in the build-up to exams, or it can be just a chance to spend some time in our spaces with your friends. Student Recharge events are a great way to relax and escape from stress, and are a great reminder of the importance of slowing down in the hustle and bustle that makes up the University experience.

During these days, you can often find Student Union Officers or Students' Union Advisor hanging around who will be happy to chat about anything that might be on your mind.

“Recharge Days are a chance to relax and unwind from your studies, with opportunities to get stuck-in to free activities and to meet new people. To celebrate assessments hand-in, and to prepare for assignment season, join us for Recharge Festival - a day of fun, food and freebies!”

Sal Fox, Vice President Education & Welfare 23-25.

"We love our Student Recharge Days but remember to come and chat to us at any time throughout the year!"
