MEET YOUR OFFICERS!
A common problem at the Student Union is the communication between us, as officers and you, the students. Each year we try and combat this problem by holding forums, sending out newsletters such as these and through social networks such as facebook and twitter. However, the most effective idea in finding out what’s on your mind and what we can do to improve is actually going out and speaking to you in person. The Student Union would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our full support and solidarity for the planned strike action taking place tomorrow on Wednesday 30th November. Our lecturers are joining millions of other public sector workers across the country in defence of public services and pensions justice. Public Sector workers are being asked to contribute more, retire later and receive a cheaper salary, therefore having a massive impact on the future generation of people who intend to work in the Public Sector.
