Heidi Flanagan became a Trustee in 2017 and is a part-time doctoral student at Winchester. Her research area is students’ expectations and satisfaction.
She has worked for the past 12 years in leadership roles in public sector organisations, championing service quality to deliver transformational change. She is a qualified Lean practitioner, skilled in process improvement to complement the voice of the business with the voice of the customer.
Heidi has worked for the past 7 years at the University of Winchester in Student Recruitment, Continuous Improvement and currently Student Services. She is responsible for developing and implementing student-centred strategies to increase students’ satisfaction with service provision. She also leads the coordination of the National Student Survey and Second Year Survey for the University.
Heidi enjoys working collaboratively with internal and external partners to deliver student-focused outcomes. She also sits on the South East Regional Board of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Heidi brings skills in strategy development, fiscal acumen, senior-level decision making, regulatory scrutiny and challenge to the Board of Trustees.
