Welcome to Raising and Giving (RAG) Week 2021

RAG (Raising and Giving) is a hugely important and well-loved part of Winchester Student Union. RAG gives our students the opportunity to give back to their community and make a real difference to people’s lives all while having fun. RAG Week is a student-led week where our university community come together in fun and unusual ways to raise money for and support so many deserving causes such as Mind, Naomi’s House and Jack’s Place, and Trinity Winchester. Students, sports teams, societies, and representational networks at Winchester Student Union have raised thousands of pounds every year for our RAG charities through quiz nights, bake sales, sponsored jumps, runs, walks, fancy dress fitness, moustache growing and more! RAG Week 2019 raised a phenomenal £3,000 and so far this academic year the efforts of our students have raised over £5,000!!! But we aren’t stopping there, can we reach £10,000 for some wonderful and deserving charities? Ellen O'Dwyer, Vice President Activities
