Many thanks for expressing an interest in working for Winchester Student Union. The attached information sheets are intended to inform you of the sample terms and conditions, the person specification, staffing structure and job description that apply to the post of Activity Groups Coordinator. If successful you will receive a full employment pack which contains your complete terms and conditions along with other relevant employment information, and a staff handbook.

THE APPLICATION FORM

Please complete your application form as thoroughly as possible ensuring that you take the attached job description, person specification and other information provided, into account.
All applications are anonymous to those who are involved in the short-listing process, so make sure that you provide as much information as possible and do not assume that those short-listing will automatically know about you, your previous experience or any previous work for the Student Union. Please do not send CV’s with your application.
Please note that you will not be short listed if you leave the ‘additional information’ section blank or without sufficient detail of your suitability for the post.
The deadline for completed applications is 12.00pm, Wednesday 7th July, 2021. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Applications are automatically submitted on completion of the online application form.
SELECTION & INTERVIEWS
Selection will be based upon an interview via Teams; at which we will be assessing that personal attributes, values & experience are suitable for the job role on offer. The interview will be with the line manager of the department you are applying for, alongside two other panel members.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 15th & Friday 16th July, which as previously noted will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. If you have been selected for interview we will contact you directly by the email supplied. It is therefore essential that you include correct contact details in your application. If you are not contacted within 2 working days of the application deadline, you have unfortunately not been shortlisted for this post.
This post is available from 16th August 2021, subject to any notice period, and will include an intensive one week handover.
