Work with our external stakeholders, such as the university, local council and emergency services to support a wide sense of belonging
Ensure the university understands the importance of what the Students’ Union does to aid belonging at Winchester
Continually lobby for improvements in equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI)
Increase the visibility of existing services and initiative that promote student engagement and belonging
Make sure there are community spaces and events on campus, in particular making the Union a hub for students.

Provide and implement opportunities for students to input into their student experience, including the academic landscape, and actively engage with their Executive Committee.

Reframe our interactions with the University to ensure we promote the interests of students, clearly communicating student feedback and ensuring accountability.
Improve and increase collaborations with the University on joint campaigns and initiatives to improve student experience.
Ensure our officers and staff are represented on all practicable university committees, and that our officers are empowered to provide authentic student voice to the university.
Celebrate and benefit from our communication with University Executive Leadership Team, connecting them with ongoing student projects and opportunities for them to engage directly with students
