Services to Students of The University of Winchester
Winchester Student Union provides both commercial and non-commercial services for the students of The University of Winchester.
Whenever you drink in one of our bars or buy something in our shops or use the launderettes the funds go directly to help fund our services such as welfare and support for our sports teams and social societies.
Our New Home... King Alfred Campus, Winchester
As amazing new building venue was completed in September 2007 and we opened straight away to all our new and returning students on 17th Sept. The University Centre is our brand spanking new venue housing our impressive "The Vault" venue as well as the Terrace Bar, along with new offices and the new university's dining facilities, bookshop, internet café, reception, and boardroom! Indeed, the centre will be the new face of the university as seen from the road and a multi-million pound face at that! It means excitement for us! We're eager to start 2007-08 year in our new home!
We've new bars, more staff, a much larger shop, and a new structure - and we're free of the confines of the original SU building, which limited capacity and meant queuing on busy nights!
Great times!
It's a new era... we'll be providing more facilities but we still have the same ethos: to provide the best possible support and services for everyone studying at The University of Winchester - to make the student experience even greater for you all. We cannot wait to open up all the great new SU facilities to all our new and returning student members and your admitted guests.

The Vault: Is our amazing new venue: the largest in the city with a capacity for up to 900 enjoying club nights and more. With theatre/movie screening facilities, sounds system and dj's, atmospheric lighting, and our great bar services. Look out for details of events throughout the term in What's On and on the web.
The Terrace Bar/Games Room:Our daytime/sports bar is also brand new and a great place to meet and socialise - be there!
