Athletics at Winchester
The University of Winchester Athletics is a developing new team for 2008. This year is very exciting as we will finally have our own track for training not far from town.

**SESSA Outdoor Championships 2008**
Lea Valley Athletics Centre, London

After a successful Indoors event in December, SESSA are holding an outdoor competition for the southern region. They are much more relaxed then BUSA and are a great warm up for the summer season.
As long as you have a Student Activity Card, you will be able to compete on behalf of the university, whether you are not currently in a team, play for another team or just want to have a go.
Its £4 per individual per event, and the events include:
There are no limitations on how many people we enter, and even if you don't compete it would be great to take some support up with us.

Applications close April 11th over our Easter holidays, so we need to know numbers before 14th March preferably.
**Level 1 Assistant Coach Course - S1C109**
Winchester (Exact location TBC)
Saturday 27th April 2008
Cost: £60 (includes free CRB)
The level 1 is an important step for any coach which, depending on CRB disclosure, you to get a Coach Pass and Licence which enables you to coach along side or under the supervision of a Level 2 coach and above.
The CRB is free if you volunteer to be part of our coaching team, and Winchester and District Athletics Club are very keen to create links in developing coaches also.
