The name SaS, the mission...to pack all the stuff you need into something smaller than the whole coach!
The following is a list of things you'll need, split into Skiers (wank planks, as i've heard them affectionately called), Snowboarders (Gay trays, again, ingenius), all (items we'll all need) and Extras.
Note: Ski and snowboard gear such as on piste clothing (jackets and salapets for example) skis, boards and boots can all be hired.

There are a few little items that you will need for the holiday which are often forgotten but make it easier for you. if you do forget them though, don't worry, most can be bought over there, just they tend to be a little more expensive.
1) Thermal gear - I'm talking long Johns and thermal shirts here, any good outdoor shop will sell them. alternatively you can get them from army surplus stores and extreme sports shops
2) Hat/beanie - It seems to be the trend to wear stupid, stupid hats on the holiday...these are most welcome but if you prefer a plain old beanie then the effect is just the same, if not better. 35% of body warmth is lost through the head so hats are a must for all.
3) Gloves + inlay Gloves - Even the best of gloves let moisture and cold in a little. It is a good idea to invest in a pair of inlay gloves, thin thermal gloves that go under your normal gloves to keep your hands warm. If you have the money you could also by "Hand Heaters", small pads that actually heat up in your gloves but in my experience these are expensive and not very useful.
4) Ski Pass holder or "Zipper" - This is a small circular plastic mechanism that clips into a pocket or zip hole. It then securely fixs to your ski pass alowing you to access your pass easily and quickly whilst also keeping it safe note - a ski pass can cost up to £100 to replace in some resorts, a Zipper costs about £1...you do the maths.
5) Bag/backpack - It is good to take round a back pack with you, it offers something to sit on, hold your lunch in if you're doing an all day session or just to look cool. A backpack is a must for all as I insist we all take out plenty of water onto the slopes, with all the drinking, exercise and wind that we're exposed too dehydration is a big problem.
6) Lunch Box and Thermos - Not entirely necessary but a packed lunch and a mug of tea is a welcome thing as you can have it wherever you want, on the top of Mont Blanc after a 3 hour trek to find the best powder, for example, and it costs about a tenth of what you'll get charged on the slope.
7) Ski clips - For the Skiers I suggest you get some ski clips. These hold your skis together when you're carrying them round, this is probably the most annoying thing about skiing as they are a bugger to hold together. again £1 will save you a lot of hassle on the holiday. Note - The velcro ones work better than the rubber ones.
8) Ski socks - Big thick socks that you will definately need. They pad out your feet in the boots and they also keep them warm. I suggest bringing a few of these because after a long day of constant exercise they'll be smelly and sweaty.
9) Walking boots or trainers - These will help you to walk around the town without slipping over...pretty obvious really.

As you may or may not know, we take a great deal of pride in our Apres Ski activities. You will need the following to enjoy some of them.
1) SUPERHERO OUTFIT - This is for a night out we have and on the slopes on a selected day. You can go for a set superhero such as superman, wonder woman etc or make up your own one. As long as you have the necessary stuff.
2) JAMES BOND OUTFIT - this is again for a night out we have and, if you choose, to wear on the slopes. Come as any character from a Bond film you like, even minor ones.
3) BEACH PARTY OUTFIT - i'm talking bikinis, shorts and Hawaian shirts! We go out one night as if we were in Ianappa, the locals can help but love it...
