REPRESENTATION.

Hi my names Fran and I’m your Mature Student Representative.

As the mature student rep, I feel that I can bring something different to the table, having experienced life as an undergraduate but also life after study.

 I adopt a positive outlook on life, even if at times, it may be a lot easier said than done! I am friendly and approachable, and I am open to suggestion for improving the mature student experience here at Winchester. Living in Winchester I am on campus most days during the week so I’m more than happy to meet up with any students who wish to discuss any issues or concerns that they may have.

In the role of mature student rep, I hope to achieve the following goals:

 

·        To actively represent the mature student population who study at the University of Winchester 
·        To encourage communication and contact between mature students and the student union via my position on the Union Council 
·        To offer genuine support and honest advice to mature students
·        To further involve mature students in social activity at the student union

·        To improve the relationship between mature students and their peers as to enrich the student experience. 

 

If you’re going to do a job its worth doing properly…
As the Mature Student Rep I will provide mature students with a service; not only being a direct point of contact with the student union but also actively representing the mature student body through my position on the Union Council.
