Student Activities form a crucial part of the student experience, enabling students to gain valuable key skills aiding personal development, along with increasing employability. Our societies and sports teams aim to provide a break from the workload that HE courses entail, along with a forum to meet people and be active with a fun interest.
"Each of our supported university student teams and societies holds regular meetings and socials, and takes part in some form of activity. All take part in union events and are seen in leisure wear depicting their group's name - they are distinctly recognisable around campus!"
The Student Union offers space and facilities beneficial to the development of clubs and societies, and we provide support funding and thorough training to volunteer leaders - to prepare and help organisers to run these extra-curricular activities for the benefit of The University of Winchester's students. The Student Union's Activities Office is available for clubs and society support.
