Lucky Winchester student wins £150 in Oncampus's ‘Enhance Your Student Experience’ competition

Final year Creative Writing & English Studies student Will Burns, was selected at random on 9th January as the lucky winner of a £150 cash prize in our recent competition provided by Oncampus, hosters of your SU’s website.  The competition was simple… all students had to do was register and create a profile for themselves in our dedicated Winchester online social network found at the link below or from the Student Union’s main website. Entrants were encouraged to explore and make the network their own space. What to do with the cash?... Will, said he may use the cash to buy some books to help with his dissertation!!

 
The Union’s Official Winchester-Oncampus Social network is open to all our students. It’s a great social space that’s being developed continuously, which may benefit, particularly, our student clubs and societies in the future. Built for a dedicated community it has distinct differences and some advantages over public networks such as the very popular Facebook. Our students, along with those of over 40 other Student Unions in the UK in the Oncampus network are free to blog, chat, setup groups, post photos and videos, broadcast messages, and setup links to website pages. Oncampus have lots of planned development to come and will keep clubs and groups updated. Please send suggestions/requests to Oncampus or to the Union team.
