Winchester Student Union Entry and ticket sales

PRE-SALE TICKETS INFORMATION

Due to the overwhelming desire for students to be able to attend our mid week event, the Student Union will now offer all 800 tickets via pre sell*. This ensures the fairest possible chance at getting your place guaranteed and will avoid ridiculously long queues for the few tickets we used to hold for door sales only.  Any non-ticket holder are still welcome to come to the door of an event and any available tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

Tickets for Generator, Bop and Flirt (and other select seasonal events) are on sale Monday - Friday, 12noon to 4pm from the Vault venue bar. Tickets may be bought upto a week in advance (ie 24th Oct Bop goes on sale on Thursday 18th Oct).  If you have any comments about this or any other ents issue please email: SU_Ents@winchester.ac.uk

*Event pre-sale tickets must be used by 10pm. Students may buy upto 2 tickets per transaction (student plus a guest, who must be signed in). Sports captains please speak to the VPAS for group bookings. ROAR.

Ticket sales: Monday to Friday 12-3pm. Tickets are available to NUS-Extra card holders and students with University Of Winchester ID. NUS-Extra card holders are able to buy ONE guest ticket. Please advise those buying a guest ticket that the guest must have the appropriate ID (passport or driving license) to gain entry.

- Sports Teams are able to buy tickets for their teams, providing they have NUS/ID for each person they are buying a ticket for! Eg. If they bring 6 cards, they can buy 6 tickets!
- Tickets do not include any form of q-jump and are valid until 10pm. At 10pm saved ticket spaces will go to those waiting with no ticket!
- We do not offer tickets/pre-sales for Tuesday nights

SIGNING-IN/GUEST POLICY: We will allow guests, one per student, with the same signing in procedure as last year. NUS card is retained and the guest must provide photo ID (driving license or passport) and the student will take full responsibilty for their guests actions.

APPLICABLE ID: We will continue to accept any form of University of Winchester ID for entry, but the discount price will only be available to NUS extra holders from Monday 8th Oct. We will continue to advise all customers that NUS extra is the preferred ID for entry. Proof of age will still be required.

Winchester School of Art students:  we are open to students from the School of Art (entry by student ID cards is not discounted  - ie. not at our NUS discounted entry price for NUS Extra card holders). 
Cards may be retained in the same way as our students to deal with disciplinary issues. These students may not sign in guests or pre-buy tickets.
