CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Proof of Student Status
Student ID Card
Photocard Driving License OR
Passport
Winchester Student Union operates a zero tolerance policy towards drugs and alcohol misuse. Therefore no-one deemed intoxicated, or under the influence, will be permitted entry.
Winchester Student Union operates a random search policy. If you refuse a search request, entry will not be permitted.
Any
University identification (proof of enrolment or room keys) will be allowed only for new students during Freshers Fortnight.
Guests & Signing In Policy
Students with an NUS Extra card are able to sign in ONE GUEST per event.
The NUS Extra card is retained and the guest must provide proof of age (driving license or passport ONLY ) and the student will take full responsibilty for the actions of their authorised guests. The NUS Extra card can be collected when leaving the event.*
*Cards may be retained to deal with disciplinary issues, if guests breach any house rules.
The Box Office, The Vault, Level 1, University Centre, King Alfred Campus
You must provide proof of student status to purchase a tickets - a maximum of two tickets per person.
*Entry to an event with a ticket is only valid until 10pm. Tickets do not include any form of q-jump and are valid until 10pm. At 10pm saved ticket spaces will go to those waiting with no ticket!
Any student found attempting to sell on a ticket to one of our events at a profit, irregardless of whether a sale actually takes place, will face a ban from all of our licensed premises and events for a period of not less than one term.
Winchester School of Art students: we are open to students from the School of Art (entry by student ID cards is not discounted - ie. not at our NUS discounted entry price for NUS Extra card holders).
