Faculty Representatives (x3)
Three specialised representatives for the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education & Faculty of Social Science. Each Faculty Representative must study within the Faculty they represent.

The faculty rep shall represent the views, needs and interests of students from their faculty, liaising with faculty management on issues that arise in the faculty.
They shall be involved with the training and supporting of Student Academic Reps (StAR's).

They shall be members of Faculty Quality Committee & Faculty Learning & Teaching Committee.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

Post-Graduate Representative

The Post-Grad Rep must be a post-graduate student.

The Post-Grad rep shall represent the views, needs and interests of all taught & research post-graduate students within the UniversityofWinchester, liaising with RKT.

They shall be a member of the University Learning & Teaching Committee. Represent the views of PG students to the student union & vice versa.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

Black Students' Officer

The Black Students' Officer must be Asian, African, Arab or Caribbean descent or self define as a black student.

The Black Students' Officer shall represent the views, needs & interests of black students within the UniversityofWinchester, liaising with the Chair of ACAS to ensure the smooth running of the society.

They shall work with the Equal Opportunities Officer to ensure

They shall be a member of the Race Equality Action Forum.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

Disabled Students' Representative

The Disabled Students' Officer must self-define as being disabled, whether it be physical or otherwise.

The Disabled Students' Officer shall represent the views, needs & interests of disabled students within the UniversityofWinchester.

They shall run campaigns for disabled students and keep up to date with the work of NUS Disabled Students' Campaign.

They shall be a member of the Disability Action Forum.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans) Representative

The LGBT Officer must self-define as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans.

The LGBT Rep shall represent the views, needs & interests of LGBT students with the UniversityofWinchester, liaising with the Chair of the LGBT Society.

They shall run campaigns for LGBT students and keep up to date with the work of the NUS LGBT Campaign.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

Women's Representative

The Women's Rep must be a female student.

The Women's Rep shall represent the views, needs & interests of female students at the UniversityofWinchester, liaising with the Chair of the Women's Society.

They shall run campaigns & keep up to date with the work of the NUS Women's Campaign.

They shall also been a member of the University Equal Opportunities Committee.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

Mature Students Representative

The Mature Students' Officer shall represent the views, needs and interests of mature students at Winchester Student Union.

They must be defined as a mature student.
They shall ensure and monitor the upkeep of a Mature Students' Society.

They shall run campaigns for mature students and keep in touch with the Mature Students' campaign within NUS.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

Sports Representative

Shall Chair the Sports Council

They shall work closely with the VP A&S & Student Development Officer to ensure smooth running of current teams and creation & development of new teams.

They will work on big sporting events such as Varsity's & Winton Weekend.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

Societies Representative

Shall Chair the Societies Council

They shall work closely VP A&S & Student Development Officer to ensure smooth running of current societies and creation & development of new societies.

They will work on events such as Freshers Fair.

They shall be elected members of the Union Council, where they will have both speaking and voting rights.

International Student Representative

The International Student Officer must be student from outside of the British Isles.

The International Student Officer shall represent the views, needs and interests of international students at UniversityofWinchester.

They shall ensure and monitor the upkeep of an International Student Society.

They shall run campaigns for international students and keep in touch with the International Student campaigns within NUS

They shall attend all Student Council meetings and have both speaking and voting rights during Student Council meetings.
