Winchester Student Union proudly presents The Summer Ball 2017!

Mark the date in your diary for the biggest Summer Ball the University has ever seen. 

We invite you to grab your festival wristband and join us for an unfortgetable evening evening to celebrate the end of the academic year. Forget your wellies and mud and join us for a perfect summer music festival. With various stages, across 3 levels of a transformed University Centre, hosting a range of live music, comedy and performances, this is an event that can't be missed.

We are delighted to announce our first Festival headliner as 'Brit Award Winning' and 'Platinum Album Selling' Kate Nash! Having performed at the likes of Glastonbury, Coachella, Reading & Leeds, we are thrilled to be able to welcome Kate to headline the Main Stage of the Summer Ball 2017. 

Closing the night will be the amazing 'The Stickmen' who are definitely the ones to watch for 2017. Not only are their sets a visual feast, but they combine a live element to their DJ Sets and play parts of the songs live using a drum kit as a sample pad

Joining Kate will be 'Winchester's Got Talent' champion Calum Brennan, who will be entertaining the crowd with his amazing and very unique 'Stand Up'. Alongside the amazing 'Natives', who will be sure to get the whole place dancing with their incredible and energetic live set. Also on the bill is Jack Francis, in little over a year, has gone from playing small local gigs in his hometown of Southampton to appearing at major UK festivals such as the Isle Of Wight, Victorious and Stone Free Festival at the O2 Arena. Headlining the Acoustic Stage will be Remedysounds, an award-winning loop pedal artist renowned for his raw vocal talent, skilful guitar playing and beat-boxing.

Tickets on sale now, available to all current students (all years) and their registered guests (as per our sign-in policy) only. This event is not open to the public. Tickets are non-refundable.
