As Winchester Women’s Rugby rapidly grows and develops every year, we make a promise to fight the stereotype, to be unique and most importantly show every other sports team that we can play hard, drink even harder and LOVE OUR LIVES!*
Winchester Women’s Rugby as a social team:
Being part of any society/sports team is a highly recommended thing to take part in whilst at university. This is mainly because it gives you an instant access to a brilliant and exciting social life. Being part of Winchester Women’s Rugby, as a social team we go out every Wednesday in fancy dress to a student union night called BOP! Other socials will be organised as well, or if you want to arrange a social for the team then feel free. Socials are important to create a bond within the team as well as giving everyone that social life to boast about and those funny stories to chuckle over at training! Let’s make this year’s rugby socials EPIC and win the award for SOCIAL TEAM OF THE YEAR at Colour’s 2011 (Sport teams awards ceremony)!!!!!!
**This year (2010/11) we are entered into a 15s league. As a team this is a very exciting opportunity, and gives us something to focus and set our sights on! So come and join us on the pitch and lets get training!!**
