It would be really good for everyone to attend all elections, to show you’re support for the law department. Each candidate will be making a 1-2 minute speech on why they believe they are the best candidate, however if you are unable to make the elections and still want to vote please follow the instructions below.
Email voting
Please email Jonny.Brason@winchester.ac.uk, in the subject please put MOOTING SOCIETY ELECTIONS 16TH MARCH. Within the email please put the name of the person you are voting for and the position they are running for.
This is the only way votes will be counted before the day.
Any questions please email me.
Thank you

Steph Bowen With 1st year Mooting Assessments just round the corner, we are here to help!
THURSDAY 16TH FEBRUARY at 12.00 (Room TBC)
This will basically be a re-run of the last event and provide you with an overview of mooting, how to prepare, use the language and draft an introduction. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you’ve got.
If you have already written an introduction or part of your moot and would like some feedback (on the structure and style not the law!) then please bring it along for after the presentation, we will be happy to listen to you practice. REMEMBER PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!
We hope you can all make it.
Please can you let us know if you are attending to ensure that we can book a room big enough, if any of your friends would like to come please bring them along. Please can you also let us know if there is a specific reason why you cannot attend and we will possibly re-arrange or re-run the event.
It won’t last more than an hour - if you can only pop in that’s still fine just let us know.

Steph Bowen Hi Everyone,
Just a general note about competitions.
Second or Third years, just in addition to David Chalks email - If you would like to compete you need to get in touch with me ASAP! Its great for practice and for the CV!
...
You don’t have to be the person to get up and ‘moot’ you could help with the research. This is for the external competitions.
To all years,
We will be running an internal competition which details for will follow soon,
And hopefully we will be holding ‘friendlies’ with Southampton this year too!
Watch this space :)
