...I played Badminton for the first time ever! It seems to have become office tradition on a Monday lunch now to don trainers and take to the courts. Up until now I’ve managed to schedule in ‘very important lunch meetings’ but since Seb had to be elsewhere (copying my previous behaviour and avoiding the embarrassment I think) it meant I was roped in to make up the numbers. Despite not understanding the scoring for the first match and a half (also not understanding that the shuttlecock had to go OVER the net to count) it was a fun hour and felt good to build up a sweat.

I also had the pleasure of going to see the film of the summer, Inception at Eastleigh Vue last Wednesday - amazing film in my opinion! If you haven’t seen it then I strongly recommend you do - Not only does it have the very handsome Leo DiCaprio in it but it’s a bit of a mindfudger that will get your brain working. Don’t expect normal dreams after though,or a normal dream within your normal dream…or even a normal dream within the normal dream which is in your normal dream - Go watch it and this will all make sense :)

Beside these jolly’s this past week or so I’ve also been busy putting together the list of people interested in joining the new SU Magazine Society and SU Radio Society. I am pretty excited about both of these projects but have come to realise it won’t be an easy job so have been doing my research by getting in touch with other Uni’s to see how these work there - As promised in my manifesto I also plan to visit other institutes like ours to see where we can start improving so first stop is Chichester Uni on Wednesday.
