All I’ve heard in the office since last term is ‘Fish, or Sponge’ which can only mean that they are debating dinner or have something extraordinary up their sleeves..

Charidee begins at home right?

Or not…?

Hi again,

Just a quick message to let you know that after a meeting this morning between Sabbs and the University we have decided to collaborate forces and support the Hampshire Diamond Jubilee Gambia Project 2012 (a mouthful I know!) for one of our big ongoing campaigns this year…

Don't mind if I do...

...take this time to update :) As promised in my manifesto and last blog, I visited Chichester last Wednesday to find out how a University of a similar size to us run their Student Union and media channels. I’m sure those of you who have visited this town know what is meant by it being a ‘flat version of Winchester’ and if the weather wasn’t enough to brighten my day, knowing I was leaving this pretty city with a brain full of new knowledge and even more determination to get us up on our feet certainly was.

Today ...

...I played Badminton for the first time ever! It seems to have become office tradition on a Monday lunch now to don trainers and take to the courts. Up until now I’ve managed to schedule in ‘very important lunch meetings’ but since Seb had to be elsewhere (copying my previous behaviour and avoiding the embarrassment I think) it meant I was roped in to make up the numbers.

What's new pussycat?

Yesterday Seb, Jez and I travelled to The University of Surrey in Guildford for the South East Regional Receptions. This is a great chance for all Presidents and Vice Presidents from the local area to meet one another and the NUS team to learn more about how the NUS can help us as Unions, and swap ideas between ourselves for the future.
