Students needed to audit University departments

The University of Winchester currently takes part in an environmental scheme called Green Impact that measures and encourages positive ethical & environmental practices. Several departments take part by completing a workbook and submitting it for verification.

And that’s where you can help.

The Student Union is looking to appoint a small team of student auditors who will receive a morning of training from an NUS (National Union of Students) trainer and will then visit the departments in pairs in the afternoon. Student Auditors will meet with Green Impact leads in departments and check through the workbook with them to ensure accuracy.

This will be a great opportunity for any students wishing to expand their knowledge and skills for CV development. Whilst unpaid, students will receive a certificate confirming their training from NUS and a meal allowance. Should they wish, auditors will also receive free entry to Bop on that evening.

Training is from 9am on Wednesday 14th May, followed by audits in the afternoon, so you would need to be available from 9am-4pm.
