DRINKS ALLOWED IN THE LIBRARY
Drinks are now allowed in the Library!
Hi my name is Harry Sampson and I’m your Student Union President. This is a brief statement to confirm the above sentence!
I’ve put this up here to show that it is a ‘real thing’ and not a troll. Earlier today at Student Academic Council, it was confirmed that drinks would be allowed in the library.
Make sure when you do bring drinks into the library that you treat it with respect, and clean up after yourselves. The moment the library is overtaken by unclean and left over coffee cups then this great change will be reversed by the University.
So, to sum up, let’s be sensible and use this great opportunity to have some wonderful days/nights/desperate last-minute essay changes in a great library with a nice refreshing beverage in hand!
