Spreading awareness of and celebrating diversity everywhere around campus, brought together by the Race and Ethnic Diversity Group, the Student Union, and the International Student Society!

With something going on every day, there’s no excuse not to get involved this week!

From participating in the panel debate about Disability in Education (Wednesday 22nd, SEB 301 1pm), to taking a Bollywood and bellydance workshop (Thursday 23rd, PAS 5, 5.30pm), there’s something for everyone – whether it’s just for fun, or to widen your ideas and knowledge concerning diversity at the University of Winchester, everyone is welcome no matter how diverse!

Thursday sees the return of the Diversity Fayre, where information about groups and societies in the University and community can be found. 10-30am until 2pm in the Vault – not one to be missed!

Thursday evening also sees the Vault transformed into a hub of diverse acts as the Diversity Showcase is open for all to show off their skills, including a presentation of traditional clothing from the International Society, and to top it off: a great drag act to represent the LGBT* society!

Doors open for the showcase at 7pm and half of the £2 entry goes towards UNICEF – a charity working with communities, governments, and 190 countries worldwide to protect and promote the rights of children everywhere.

Tickets are available from the SU Box Office from Thursday the 16th of October – buy now to avoid the rush!

So have a fun Diversity Week guys! Why not comment below and let me know which events take your fancy - I know I'm intrigued by all of them!

Have a fab week, and remember - you can't spell 'super' without 'SU'!
