Thursday 21-11-2013 - 12:40

18th -24th November is Alcohol awareness week!

The aim of Alcohol Awareness Week is to get people thinking about alcohol - how it affects us as individuals, families, communities and society. By encouraging people to have the right conversations about alcohol we hope to make changes to our relationship with alcohol in the
UK. - http://www.alcoholconcern.org.uk/

As students, we all appreciate a good night out with a few drinks, but the best nights are those when you know your limits meaning bad decisions, harmful binge drinking effects, and the horrendous and unnecessary hangovers can be avoided.

This week we will be supplying you with, facts and information to enhance your understanding of the negative effects of alcohol and ideas on how to enjoy a good student night out without damaging your health and instead looking after your own welfare.

See - http://commsoncampus.weebly.com/ for more information.

Make sure you check out the posters going up around the Student Union, and remember ‘Get Watered, Not Slaughtered’
